Trial Period

QoBooks offers a trial period for selected plans, allowing you to explore the full capabilities of the system before committing to a paid subscription.

Trial Availability

Trial periods are available for:

  • Starter Plan: 14-day trial
  • Professional Plan: 30-day trial
  • Enterprise Plan: Custom trial duration (contact sales)

The Free plan does not require a trial as it's always available at no cost.

Starting a Trial

How to Begin Your Trial

  1. Navigate to Pricing Page

    • Visit the QoBooks pricing page
    • Select the plan you wish to trial
  2. Choose Trial Option

    • Click "Start Free Trial" on your selected plan
    • No payment information required to start
  3. Account Setup

    • If you haven't registered, complete the registration process
    • Your trial begins immediately after account verification
  4. Full Access

    • Enjoy all features included in your selected plan
    • No restrictions during the trial period

Trial Features

During your trial period, you have:

  • Full Feature Access: Use all features available in your selected plan
  • No Payment Required: No credit card or payment information needed
  • Unlimited Usage: No limits on transactions, users, or data
  • Support Access: Access to standard support channels
  • Data Retention: Your data is preserved if you convert to a paid subscription

Trial Duration

Starter Plan Trial

  • Duration: 14 days
  • Automatic Conversion: To paid plan at end of trial unless cancelled
  • Reminder: Email notification 3 days before trial ends

Professional Plan Trial

  • Duration: 30 days
  • Automatic Conversion: To paid plan at end of trial unless cancelled
  • Reminder: Email notification 7 days and 3 days before trial ends

Enterprise Plan Trial

  • Duration: Custom (typically 30-60 days)
  • Manual Conversion: Contact sales to convert to paid subscription
  • Dedicated Support: Assigned account manager during trial

Converting to Paid Subscription

Automatic Conversion

For Starter and Professional plans:

  • If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you'll be automatically converted to a paid subscription
  • Payment method will be requested at the end of the trial
  • Your subscription begins on the day after trial expiration

Manual Conversion

To convert your trial to a paid subscription before it ends:

  1. Log in to your account at qotrack/account
  2. Navigate to the "Subscription" section
  3. Click "Convert to Paid Subscription"
  4. Add your payment information
  5. Confirm the conversion
  6. Your paid subscription begins immediately

Cancelling a Trial

Before Trial Ends

To cancel your trial without converting to a paid subscription:

  1. Log in to your account at qotrack/account
  2. Navigate to the "Subscription" section
  3. Click "Cancel Trial"
  4. Select a reason for cancellation
  5. Confirm cancellation
  6. Your trial ends immediately
  7. Your account will be downgraded to the Free plan

After Trial Ends

If you don't cancel and don't provide payment information:

  • Your account will be suspended
  • You'll have 7 days to add payment or your data may be deleted
  • Contact support to reactivate your account

Data After Trial

If You Upgrade

  • All your trial data is preserved
  • No data migration required
  • Seamless transition to paid subscription
  • Continue exactly where you left off

If You Cancel

  • Your account downgrades to Free plan
  • Data may be limited or removed based on Free plan limits
  • Export your data before cancelling if needed
  • Contact support for data export assistance

Trial Extensions

Requesting an Extension

Trial extensions are available in special circumstances:

  1. Contact QoBooks support
  2. Provide a valid reason for extension
  3. Extensions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis
  4. Maximum extension: 14 additional days

Troubleshooting

Trial Not Starting
