Troubleshooting
Identify and resolve common system errors.
Interface Overview

Common Issues
1. "Cannot Delete Account"
Error: When trying to delete a Chart of Accounts entry, you see "This account has transaction history". Solution:
- For accounting integrity, accounts with history cannot be deleted.
- Fix: Open the account, uncheck "Active", and save. This hides it from new transactions.
2. "Negative Inventory Not Allowed"
Error: When posting an Invoice, you see "Insufficient Stock". Solution:
- Your system is configured to prevent selling items you don't have.
- Fix 1: Record a Purchase Bill or Stock Adjustment to increase your count.
- Fix 2: If you know you have physical stock, enable "Negative Sell" on the Item Profile.
3. "Permission Denied"
Error: A user cannot see a specific menu or button. Solution:
- Go to Accountant > Roles.
- Select the user's role and check if the specific module (e.g., "Void Bills") is checked.
- User must logout and log back in for changes to apply.
4. "Browser shows old data"
Error: Different users see different UI elements or old cached content. Solution:
- We have implemented automated asset versioning. However, if the issue persists:
- Fix: Perform a "Hard Refresh" (Ctrl + F5 on Windows, Cmd + Shift + R on Mac).
[!CAUTION] Database Errors: If you see any "SQL" or "Database Connection" errors, please contact your system administrator immediately as this may indicate a server issue.
